WHAT IS PEACE? Peace does not mean the total absence of conflict, it means the absence of violence in all forms and the unfolding of a conflict in a constructive way
WHAT IS CONFLICT THEN? Conflict is a situation in which the party(ies) perceive or experience incompatible goals.
Ex. Two children fighting over one orange, Two countries disputing a territory, A resignation, The Deforrestation Process in the Amazon, A Bad Look Given to One's Friend etc.
WHAT IS VIOLENCE? Violence is composed of the actions, words, attitudes, structures or systems which cause physical, psychological, social and environmental damages and/or prevent either the access to exercising a fundamental human right or the integral fulfillment of the human potential.
Ex. A War, Name-Calling, Ignorance, Child Abuse, Domestic Beating, Robbery, Street Fights, Poverty, Starvation, Discrimination, Breaking the WIndows of the Government, Threat, Blackmailing, A Natural Disaster.
